HUD Multifamily Housing Compliance Conference:
What Every Tax Credit Investor, Loan Servicer and Borrower Needs to Know

May 10 - 11, 2007
The Westin Arlington Gateway
Arlington, VA

Conference Overview

While HUD programs have been a significant foundation to multifamily properties for the past 70 years, recent activity in the Department has attracted new borrowers and lenders. At the same time, HUD's official and unofficial requirements - what is commonly known as HUD "lore" - have increased exponentially resulting in successful programs burdened with criticism and violation enforcement from the Department. This charged environment costs borrowers and lenders thousands of dollars as they are forced to demonstrate compliance or are fined for what some industry observers would classify as merely "technical violations."

This seminar will provide a basic description of HUD multifamily programs and compliance requirements for new borrowers, as well as offer tips for more cost effective asset management.
